Light Table

I scored myself an old, used light table for super cheap. These things are money!!! Only problem was that it was a little sad looking and didn't even work!! Haha! I figured it just needed a new light bulb, but turns out it was an electrical issue! Some how Husband was able to figure it out and got it working again! He also took the table apart and sanded the whole thing down for me! If that's not love, I don't know what is! Haha! I planned on painting the whole thing... grey of course... but ended up loving the natural wood look so much, that we just left it! I love it soooooo much!! Hopefully the girl loves it as much as I do!

I set out the loose parts and the girl went to town creating a few compositions! Not sure why there are those funny lines on my pics, but anyways!

 This one is her Papa!

This one is her! I helped with the hair. Can you guess which side Yulli did and which side I helped with? Haha the girl can be so type A!!

These are "beautiful flowers in the garden"!

Eeek I love it! Can't wait for more explorations with this thing!!

Rainbow Egg Recipe

The girl has been obsessed with watching cooking shows lately! She has also been asking non-stop to make "a rainbow egg recipe"! What on Earth are rainbow eggs? Well after much questioning, I have concluded they are not dyed Easter eggs. I still have no idea what she's talking about, but decided to indulge her anyways. We took my tried and true Chinese egg tart recipe and turned it rainbow! This recipe is so super easy and always a crowd pleaser!

Mix 1 egg, 1/4 sugar and 3/4 cream or milk. Pour into frozen dessert tarts. Bake for 35mins at 325C.

See!! So super simple!! This recipe will make 10 tarts! I usually add a couple drops of yellow food coloring to give it some color! So this time we added various colors and made it rainbow!! Hopefully the girl is satisfied with this "rainbow egg recipe"!!
